  1. Hello!

Fast and Female is coming Highlands Nordic in Duntroon, ON to host a champ chat for girls ages 8-18, Join us December 17th at the Highland Nordic Ski Centre for an afternoon of fun, inspiration and motivation! We are looking forward to a fantastic event North of the GTA! This event is being held immediately following the Yuletide Bash, and we’d love to have ski girls from across the area bond and grow their love of sport together. Please pass this information along to coaches/instructors, and parents and any female skiers in the club and programming!
Fast and Female is the premier organization empowering women through sport. Our goal with Champ Chats is to empower and motivate young girls involved in sport of any kind. We want to motivate girls to feel strong and pursue excellence in all aspects of life. Fast and Female has partnered with Dairy Farmers of Canada and their #Championher campaign to spread the message of the importance of sport in life.

This is a chance for young athletes to feel empowered with new friends and spend the afternoon with current and former Varsity, Development, and World Cup athletes. The schedule includes physical literacy with our Athlete Ambassadors, a Chocolate Milk break, a Motivational Chat and Q&A, and yoga/dance party! We would love to extend the invitation for you and your athletes to join us!!

    WHO: All girls ages 8-18

WHAT: Fast and Female Champ Chat

WHERE: Highlands Nordic Ski Centre, 1182 Nottawasaga Rd Concession 10 S, Duntroon
    WHEN: Saturday, December 17th, 2pm-5pm

WHY: Because girls are SIX TIMES more likely than boys to drop out of sport. The most cited reason for this is a lack of social belonging. We want to foster a culture that motivates girls to be limitless, spread the love, and dominate the world!

Registration includes the afternoon full of programming, LL Bean Technical Tee, Dairy Farmers of Canada ‘Champion Her’ waterbottle, chocolate milk break, and Fast and Female Poster!
