Mountainview Nordic Ski Cross

Sunday March 9, 2025 | Mountainview Ski Center | Midland, Ontario

Sprint races with a twist – climb up, race down, all out, full throttle! The course will include features such as jumps, banked turns and rollers.

U12 and above races are freestyle format. Each racer will ski 3 race runs. The first run is the time trial. These times will be used for the SOD results. Following the interval start time trial, each athlete will participate in two head-to-head heats of four skiers.  Athletes will be assigned randomly to heats within their age categories if registration numbers permit.

The course will remain closed until a pre-race coaches safety meeting. At the meeting, racers will be reminded of good racing practices, and most importantly to hold their line over jumps – blocking is dangerous and against the rules.

LOCATION

Mountainview Ski Center is located off of Hwy 93 in Midland, Ontario (behind the Mountainview Mall).
